Finding the perfect beachfront accommodation in Nusa Lembongan isn’t just about picking a hotel—it’s also about choosing the right area. This little island has a mix of resorts, bungalows, and villas, each with its own vibe and budget. Some areas are lively, while others are more laid-back, so where you stay matters. I’ll walk you through the best places to stay, from Jungut Batu Beach to Mushroom Bay, so you can find the ideal beachfront accommodation for your travel style.
I believe there are five areas on Nusa Lembongan worth considering: Jungutbatu Beach (this is the longest beach on Nusa Lembongan, so north and south of the beach both offer different experiences), Mushroom Bay, Dream Beach and Nusa Ceningan.
In this guide, I have included beachfront accommodation recommendations for each of these areas. If you’re too busy to read this now – that’s all good. You can click below to save it to Pinterest and easily access it later.

Pemedal Beach Resort
Where is it: North Jungutbatu Beach
Price Range: Mid-Range
Why I Recommend it:
For beachfront accommodation in Nusa Lembongan that combines a relaxed vibe with incredible views, and is still close to the action, then Pemedal Beach Resort is a great pick.
The beachfront pool is a real standout—you can lay in the sun with a cocktail while taking in awesome ocean views, and on a clear day, you’ll even see Mount Agung.
The bungalow-type rooms have a traditional Balinese feel, and each has a small deck out the front, so you can unwind after a day of exploring in peace. The staff were genuinely some of the friendliest on the island, always going out of their way to help with anything guests needed. In the evenings, the resort often hosts live music by the pool, creating a fun atmosphere for dinner.
The location of Pemedal is really good too. Only a short walk to the main street and must-try eats such as Curry Traders, Jungle Bakery, and many other restaurants. Plus, spas, shopping and Island Yoga Lembongan (yoga/meditation studio). Then, to get to the other end of Jungutbatu Beach, a local taxi will drop you there for 100k IDR.
Distance from the Ferry to Pemedal Beach Resort:
Rocky Fast Cruise/Telatak Village – 14-minute drive.
Jungutbatu Beach Ferry Terminal: 7-minute drive.
Pemedal Beach Resort is also a great pick for families and pretty much anyone who wants a great mid-range beachfront location, warm hospitality, and some of the best sunset views in Nusa Lembongan.
Batu Karang Lembongan Resort & Spa
Where is it: Southern end of Jungutbatu Beach – up on the hill.
Price Range: Luxury
Why I Recommend it:
For luxury beachfront accommodation that will have you slightly elevated with even better views of Nusa Lembongan, Batu Karang Lembongan Resort & Spa is the best choice.
Perched on the hillside overlooking Jungut Batu Bay, this resort offers a peaceful retreat while still being close to some of the island’s best spots. A short walk from the resort, you’ll find places I highly recommend, like The Deck, a perfect spot for sunset drinks, and Thai Pantry, the best restaurant on the island. Then there is Spring Spa, which offers a unique spa experience and high-quality pampering that I know you deserve.
Distance from the Ferry to Batu Karang Lembongan Resort & Spa:
Rocky Fast Cruise/Telatak Village: 9-minute drive
Jungutbatu Beach Ferry Terminal: 4-minute drive / 5-minute walk
Batu Karang has a variety of room types, from spacious suites to private villas. Every room is designed to blend luxury with a natural island feel. If you have the budget, this resort will be such a treat!
While it may not technically be “beachfront accommodation”, the resort makes up for it with infinity pools, lush gardens, and the most amazing views of the turquoise blue water surrounding Nusa Lembongan.
If you want a stylish stay with incredible views, close to the ferry terminal and walking distance to one of the main streets on the island, Batu Karang is hard to beat.

Blue Lagoon Avia Villas
Where is it: Nusa Ceningan
Price Range: Luxury
Why I Recommend it:
For a more secluded stay, why not cross the iconic yellow bridge to Nusa Ceningan? Blue Lagoon Avia Villas offers a quiet retreat with stunning ocean views. The resort sits above the famous Blue Lagoon, and is ideal for travelers looking to escape the crowds and soak in the natural beauty of the island.
Getting to Nusa Ceningan is easy since it’s connected to Nusa Lembongan by a simple Yellow Bridge—the only way to cross between the two islands. The bridge is narrow and is only accessible to scooters, bicycles, and pedestrians.
Distance from the ferry to Blue Lagoon Avia Villas:
Rocky Fast Cruise/Telatak Village: 5-minute drive to the yellow bridge
Jungutbatu Beach Ferry Terminal: 12-minute drive to the yellow bridge
Each villa at Blue Lagoon Avia Villas comes with a private pool, a spacious open-air bathroom, and a cozy island-style design that fits perfectly with the tropical surroundings. The main infinity pool overlooks the ocean, making it an ideal spot to relax and watch the day slowly go by!
While this location feels wonderfully remote, you’re still just a short scooter ride away from Nusa Ceningan’s beach bars and the yellow bridge, so getting across to Nusa Lembongan isn’t an issue.
Plus, along the road leading to the resort are a few small restaurants. If you’re after a peaceful getaway with incredible views and away from the crowds, Blue Lagoon Avia Villas is a beachfront gem worth considering.
Mushroom Beach Bungalows
Where is it: Mushroom Bay
Price Range: Budget
Why I Recommend it:
If you’re looking for beachfront accommodation in Nusa Lembongan that won’t break the bank, Mushroom Beach Bungalows is a great option. The hotel is located right on Mushroom Bay, this spot is perfect for budget travellers who still want ocean views and easy beach access. You can step straight onto the sand, watch the boats come and go, and catch some of the best sunsets on the island.
Distance from the ferry to Mushroom Beach Bungalows:
Rocky Fast Cruise/Telatak Village: 12-minute drive
Jungutbatu Beach Ferry Terminal: 12-minute drive
The bungalows are simple but offer comfort and everything you need for a relaxed stay. If you’re into surfing, you’re in a great location, with some of Lembongan’s best surf breaks only a short boat ride away.
Mushroom Bay is a little bit out of the main town of Lembongan but there are still a few restaurants and beach bars nearby. So you won’t have to go far for a good meal. Plus, there are snorkelling spots that are accessible from the beach.
If you want affordable accommodation with a prime beachfront location, this is a great option.
Dini D’Nusa Lembongan
Where is it: 300m from Dream Beach
Price Range: Luxury
Why I Recommend it:
For a laid-back stay in one of the more quieter areas on Nusa Lembongan but without sacrificing stunning ocean views, this beachfront accommodation is the way to go. Dini D’Nusa is a charming resort offering wooden bungalows with the option of an ocean or garden view and all surrounded by tropical gardens.
Distance from the ferry to Dini D’Nusa Lembongan:
Rocky Fast Cruise/Telatak Village: 9-minute drive
Jungutbatu Beach Ferry Terminal: 9-minute drive
Located near Sandy Bay Beach Club and Dream Beach, you’re in such a good spot for exploring some of Nusa Lembongan’s most beautiful coastal areas.
I love that mornings here start with a vegetarian breakfast, and the relaxed atmosphere makes it easy to slow down and enjoy island life.
