What to expect on A World To Live

Real Photos: I’m more than happy to share the good, the bad and the ugly, I won’t be sugarcoating any of my images. Furthermore, all photos on this site are mine unless stated otherwise.

Honesty: If I find a place to be overrated and not worth the money, I will always let you know.

Know your budget: I include prices and when relevant include how much I spend on day-to-day expenses.

Fun: These guides are written to be fun and informative, I want you to become educated and excited about your upcoming trip.

All the Details: Many of these travel guides are long and include all the information you need to get the most out of each country.

Who is A World To Live?

Elyse is my name and I’m the author & content creator behind this blog. I’m Australian, grew up in Melbourne & and currently live on the Gold Coast.

As much as I’d love it, I’m not a full-time traveller, but always use my annual leave wisely. Work– Save – Travel – Repeat! That’s become my lifestyle over the past 16 years. And, I really do love it.

My first overseas trip was with my cousins when I was 16, we went to Fiji and had an absolute blast. After that, I officially caught the “travel bug”.

I’ve since travelled to over 40 countries & have a massive passion for discovering new places. I’m a money-conscious traveller who loves writing independent travel guides that help my readers get the most out of their holidays.

I believe that travel broadens the mind! And, there is no better way to learn more about other cultures than by getting on a plane and experiencing it for ourselves. Furthermore, travel teaches us to have more compassion & gratitude. Also, while travelling we are often put in new situations that can push us to our limits, but teach us lessons that will have a lasting impact.

Nobody knows what tomorrow will bring, so we must make each day count. I hope A World To Live inspires and motivates you to see the world. You can search by destination here 🗺

Happy Travels!

Much Love, Elyse ♥
